“If you tell anyone, I'll deny it to my grave, but,” Their legs dangled off of the edge of the branch, the breeze just enough to sway the two along. “I think it's kinda.. sexy, when you speak Spanish.”
A small snort was released from Nis' nose, followed by a chuckle to cover it up. She knew Olivia was messing with her, but she could still feel her own face darken, unable to pin it on the heat due to the damn near perfect weather their overgrown field was experiencing. “Oh, really? Well, sweet cheeks, I could've guessed,” She gave a cocky grin. “considering your face lights up like a Christmas tree every time I call you cariña.”
Olivia rolled her eyes with a laugh, causing the grin on Nis' face to widen impossibly. “-Ignis Cenere, I swear to the heavens above, I will shove you out of this tree.”
“Oh, please do, Livy – Little did you know, I have a thing for falling out of random trees.” She figured the teasing should've ended, considering that she didn't actually want to get tossed into the dirt, but it was all too tempting.
The darker-haired scoffed, her lip raising in an amused smile. “Is that so?”
It was then, almost too quick, that Olivia's smooth, thin hands pushed roughly against her shoulders, successfully knocking her backwards off of the branch. But not before Nis' just killer reflexes gripped onto a loose baseball tee, triumphantly dragging her down too. They hit the grassy dirt floor with an oof, Olivia pressed atop of the other. A grunt pulled it's way out of the shorter as she attempted to lift herself up. She paused in her struggle, only getting as far as onto her forearms, when their eyes linked.
She was the most magnificent thing Nis had ever seen. It was hard not to get lost in the perfect hazel eyes that stared back at her. Her skin was like porcelain, and she wanted nothing more than to test if it was as soft as it looked, to caress her velvet face. Her almost black locks fell over her shoulders, the tie holding the thick strands together seemed to just barely be holding on. The sunlight circled her head like a halo, and Nis really wanted to hold her close, run her fingers through her silky hair, and pepper kisses into her delicate jawline. She wanted to wake up next to her every morning, more than just a “girls' sleepover”, she wanted to hear that pure laugh every day of her life. She wanted her to feel the same ache in her stomach when they weren't around eachother. She wanted that rose perfume to flood her senses, she wanted to be the one to tell her she looked absolutely stunning when that hint of doubt passed through her eyes, she wanted to whisper sweet things in her ears in a language she didn't know, yet understood perfectly. She wanted to make pillow forts with her and spend the night cuddling inside their creation like when they were kids. She wanted to stay up with her till four in the morning watching cheesy movies, only for them to fall asleep in a tangled mess on the couch. She wanted her to feel the same butterflies that engulfed her insides. She wanted her to feel the same way she did. And for a second, as they gazed at eachother, no shield between the two and the emotions behind their eyes, it almost felt as if she did. And in a flash, need overriding want, Olivia's baby soft lips were pressed against her own chapped ones in a flurry of desire. Every inch of skin against skin was burrowing into the forefront of her thoughts, the teasing touches of Olivia's fingers dragging along her jaw and over her tan neck almost overwhelming. Noses brushed against eachother as their mess of an open-mouthed kiss furthered. Hands roamed, bodies pressing impossibly closer. Faces hot and hair disheveled, the reality of the situation finally sunk in. Olivia was kissing her. Olivia, the most gorgeous thing she'd ever thought to walk on Earth, was kissing her. Nis wondered briefly if what she saw behind Olivia hazel orbs was the same want she herself contained. The want to be close, the want to be smothered in her warm scent, the want to spend their waking hours together, the want to kiss her whenever she deemed it right. The want to love her. Olivia broke away from the kiss, only to pepper her face with butterfly kisses. The gentle nips against her red, tan cheeks felt like heaven. She refused to open her eyes, in case it all disappeared the second she did. Words rolled off Olivia's tongue like honey, her voice like nicotine to Nis.
“You really do have a thing for falling out of trees, don't you?” She purred, a palm placed on the underside of the taller's head in order to continue her trail down back to her mouth.
The soft giggles Olivia pulled out of her were completely out of her control. Her fingers grasped at the same baseball tee that started this all. The urge to look at the other and meet the eyes she knew she'd never escape from became a probing need, but she knew it'd all be over once she did. So, she stayed put, reveling under Olivia's touch on the thick grass. Her praise was the only thing keeping her anchored. Olivia's now scorching hand returned to her cheek, the soft pecks that were dragging such high sounds out of her left, leaving only her scathing hand and the knees either side of the other's hips.
“Look at me, Nis. Open your eyes.” She could hear the wonder in her voice. “I've got you, baby, I promise.”
As per her everything's request, Nis finally opened her eyes. Regret swarmed her systems as she lied a hesitant touch across her own lips, the sensation of Olivia's mouth still lingering there. When she looked up, Olivia was sat on the edge of the tree's branch, staring at her as if she had gone insane. She didn't know how long she had been daydreaming for but, God, it felt like hours.
