If you can’t live in Japan, the next best thing is to live vicariously. Lately, I’ve been achieving this via YouTube J-vloggers. Sometimes I have to step back and say, hey, is this video about a scallop sausage or funny things someone found in a ¥100 shop really that interesting? I usually respond by doing a search for Japanese grocery store videos or checking out the live feed from Shibuya crossing (Not as busy as you thought!)
