So, I tried using the description box last time and I wasn't really a fan. I think this is more of a personal intro, but I would love to know what you guys prefer. For this evening's chapter, I looked up some random prompts and one thing I found that I thought was cool was called an alphabet poem. It's 26 lines and the first line starts with "A", the second with "B," etc... Let's see how this goes!
All the stars in the world seemed to have fallen for you
Because they know, you keep the secrets of light and truth
Clenched up in the palm of your hands.
Deep down in the earth,
Every seed is reaching toward you
For they know you stand taller when adversity tries to
Gnaw its way through your mind and bones.
How many times did you have to fall, before you realized,
It's probably a good idea to bring some bandages and neosporin?
Jealously is not how I feel, more like curious to
Know, how long did you have to wait, before the world
Landed on your finger tips?
Maybe it's because...
No, no, jealously is not how I feel.
On the contrary, I am more,
Perplexed. How is it that you can
Quench all that is wrong, with a simple smile?
Reason tells me there is something off.
Something I am missing.
Tell me, when you lay your head to rest, can you,
Unzip the facade you wear so tightly? Are you not,
Vexed when you find you are just pulling at skin?
What has troubled me most, is what your
X-ray eyes have to failed to see.
You have left me behind and now there is no one
Zealously wishing to be with me.

Well lookie here! That's a fine poem if I do say so myself! I had a fun time writing it and I suggest you try it if you get the chance. I hope you guys liked mine and let me know what you think. I also wanted to try something new tonight and add to my usual "closing statements." I thought I would suggest a poem to read on top of my usual Fun Facts. So for tonight, I recommend Lewis Carroll's A Boat Beneath A Sunny Sky. Fun Fact: Instant Coffee was invented in 1901 by a Japanese-American man named Satori Kato in Chicago.
