Better late than never, here is the first of an actual, true double update!
As you can see, this is also the end of the full color pages for this chapter. I plan to do a few color pages for every chapter of this series, but because it is a fancomic I have decided to do the majority of it in classic black and white so that I can focus more fully on my original series. All of my fancomics will follow this system, since I can't really do much with fanseries besides post them.
It's really nice to be sitting here at page 6 though. After so many struggles it feels like things are finally starting to roll along.

WOW! That's a stupid argument! "Don't make the mistake of thinking you're the only one who cares" so what? Because I'm not the only one, I should just not care? You somehow have more of a right to stay here than someone who knew her far longer than you have? This is such a stupid cliche thing to say.

This first part of the trilogy explores an alternate ending for the Naruto series, which branches off from the point in the original story just after Jiraiya perishes. Sasuke, having just defeated his brother Itachi at last, joins with Akatsuki to bring down Konohagakure. However, instead of being sent after the 8-tailed host, Sasuke insists on going after the only other remaining tailed beast, the host of the 9-tailed fox, Naruto Uzumaki.
That is where our story begins.
