This hadith was narrated by Abu Hurayrah (r), and is recorded in both the books of Bukhari and Muslim.
Note on the translation: the Arabic word 'beda3' means any number between three and ten; therefore, the hadith means that eman has any number of branches between seventy-three and eighty, and Allah knows best.
