You don't have to be ace to go through this as a kid- alot of kids worry about this stuff at a certain age, esp the hiding differences thing :)

I didn't go to a school with a hierarchy. Many of the cliques overlapped, and it was so huge and diverse that I didn't really feel shamed for having or not having certain interests. It seems so outdated to me that people, even teenagers, still think like this.
