I didn't go to a school with a hierarchy. Many of the cliques overlapped, and it was so huge and diverse that I didn't really feel shamed for having or not having certain interests. It seems so outdated to me that people, even teenagers, still think like this.
How to be Ace is a coming-of-age graphic memoir exploring growing up, being awkward and navigating relationships, told through the perspective of someone who is asexual. I want to talk about asexuality in the context to every day life's funny and not so funny stories!
