You probably wouldn't recognize me at first, the way I've been....heck, I can hardly recognize me. I grew so quiet and so small, I could probably fit in the palm of your hand and be just as unnoticeable.
But someone did notice. By the time they whispered something to me, it was so alien I couldn't even talk back.
I'm sure someone would say I'm being..melodramatic...but I had forgotten what it meant to be looked at as someone, not something. To be treated as something other than a problem or a means to an end.
It terrified me. Because for a brief moment I felt a stirring of being vulnerable. I kept quiet. I'm sorry...
