College freshman Daniel Rodriguez is not what you would call a "social" person. Or, as his socialite friend Leah rather unfairly calls him, "a gay shut in married to his Playstation." But through an impulsive decision to join an LGBT pen pal club, he meets the mysterious "Izzy"- a guy with social hangups that might be even stronger than his own. Dan finds himself falling hard and fast as the shy, guarded Izzy slowly opens up to him letter by letter. But the two quickly learn that a connection is and can be so much more than words on a page.
