This woman is my oldest sister Lyda out of 5 of us kids in the Rulers family.

I place the cover over the pot of boiling stew and wash my hands.

"So tell me since when did you know where I lived?" I say walking over to open the cabinets full of plates and cups. I grab two plates and two cups placing it on the dining table.

"Well let's just say......since you moved here." She says laughing

"You didn't tell the rest of the family did you?" I ask

"Of course not if I did you'd probably kill me.....Literally" she walks over to a picture that I placed up of our mother and sits down in front of it praying.

Our mother was murdered or you could say assassinated by someone, we never figured out who but we can tell the difference between assassination and suicide.

"Yes I would have and I mean it" I grab the pot of boiling hot stew off the stove and place it in the middle of the table.

Opening the pot up Lyda runs to the table, sits down, prays, and finally starts eating. She was eating so fast that I had to hurry and grab my share before she ate it all.

"You know I have always loved your cooking Raven." Lyda says still chowing down the food.

"Lyda don't go calling me by that name I threw that name away a long time ago" I give Lyda a cold stare.

Lyda laughs for a good minute and finally looked at me seriously.

"Little brother that name will never disappear. You can't run away from it no matter-"

I cut her off

"Lyda I swear keep talking. I don't care if my walls are covered in bright red blood." I say holding my knife and fork in both of my hands.

"Ok ok, I'll stop for now. You win. Besides we have something more important to talk about anyway." She suddenly stands up and puts her dishes in the sink.

I do the same once finishing my food. I wash all the dishes then sit down next to Lyda on my couch.

"So? that important thing you were talking about?" I ask

"Were being targeted, little brother." Lyda says
