“You’re back.”
Eli glanced up to see Lennox sitting up on the shelves once again. “You should get down, it’s dangerous up there,” Eli said up to him.
“Oh, is Eli scared for his little prince?” asked Lennox as he nimbly climbed down.
Eli blushed slightly and covered his face with his book, “I am not. I’m scared for the books.”
Lennox sat on the cushion next to Eli, “We should explore the library.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“The library is meant for reading, not for fools like you to mess around in,” answered Eli, “Anyways, how would you know where to go?”
Lennox glared at Eli, “One, I’m not a fool. Two, the point of exploring is to find new places.”
“You can go. I’m going to finish my book right here,” Eli got comfortable on his cushion and started to read his book.
“Fine,” Lennox grumbled, “I’ll go myself.”
Eli watched as Lennox left their section of the library. He should follow. Wait, why should he follow him? Lennox is a fool. Eli shook his head to clear his mind. Lennox has started to corrupt him.
