well!!!! that's it!! thank you so much to all who've read and supported Questables on this........journey. it started as a fun/silly/time killing little comic to wind down, needing a break after my first graphic novel, and here we are over a year later with Quest 1: Finding Micidia completely wrapped up! I've made some great friends through this story and i'm so happy to see how much everyone has come to love these characters.
No doubt you've got a few questions!! This strip is a lot longer than we’re used to, and there’s a lot of loose ends (why Cid lives in a shack, what did they used to look like, what’s going on in Robin’s village etc) that will only be properly explained in Quest 2, as well as all this setup for the next story. Unfortunately for the story, I feel like I've gotten all I can out of QB for the time being, and am ready to fully take on my freelance art career and leave comics aside! But I've left the set-up for Quest 2 in this strip so that if I ever want to come back to this comic, we can dive right into the next adventure.
In the mean time, have fun imagining what their new journey would be like! You can share fan art and other fan works in our Discord server, linked below! You can also tweet me on @bilvyy. The little bits of fan works I've seen so far have absolutely melted me and if you've made something yourself I'd LOVE to see it! <3
Oh, and if you're a DnD fan who recognises some of the names here, keep it secret and don't spoil the goodies for our newbies ;^) we'll expand plenty on Dammara and the holy hoard if I get enough Patreon support to continue comics full time again.
!!! I didn’t realize we were near the end! Oh my gosh, I’ve loved this comic so much- it’s definitely one that I reread if I want a nice read and some laughs. I just found Preheat, and with how much I love this story and Rechargeable, I’m absolutely going to go read that one now!! Good luck on your freelance career!!!
Questables is a comedic fantasy webcomic following a dwarven monk, Robin, as she embarks on her first big quest. As she travels she meets plenty of folks on the road, and soon enough her one-woman mission turns into a tight knit family adventure.
Questables is filled with an LGBT cast, good vibes and domestic moments, and pays homage to many classic tabletop RPG elements.
