Later during class…..
I’m sooooooooooo boooooooorrrrrreeeeeeed. I wish class wasn’t so boring. I mean, not all classes are this boring, but still.
“Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. I hate my job. Blah blah blah blah blah.” said Mr. Smith, the history teacher. Ok, if the teacher is LITERALLY saying “blah blah blah” instead of teaching that HAS to mean this is boring. Then again, this is the first day. But if all of the teachers do this I’m going to ask to transfer. Wait, if i transfer I’ll be all alone in the new school. I don't like being alone….
Guess I’m staying here then.
“Blah blah. Wait, I don't have to do this. I quit!” Said Mr. Smith walking out of the room.
“Did that really just happen? Why is no one else freaking out?!” I asked confused.
“Oh, that? Don’t worry, happens a lot here.” a male, I think, said. I looked to where the voice came from. A boy wearing glasses and a grey hoodie was the one who spoke.
“This is normal here? But why?”
“Simple, teachers don’t like their job and quit. Need further explanation?”
“I do, but why in the middle of class? Can’t they just wait ‘till school's over?” So odd, in the middle of class.
“I mean, they could wait until after school. They just don’t and no one knows why,” he said looking at me like I was dumb, “I haven’t seen you around here before, you new?”
“Yes. I just moved here yesterday.”
“Cool. Anyway, my name is Kayden, what’s yours?” he asked.
“My name is Charlotte.” I say extending my hand with a smile.
“Um, ok. So, wanna be friends?”
“Sure.” I guess I have 2 friends now, nice. He looked at me, no stared at me after I said that. He stared at me for a while, then he finally spoke.
“Let’s go Maccon.” he waved his hand at a girl as he got off of his desk.
“Nah, I wanna stick around here for a bit.” I look over to where the female voice came from. There’s a girl wearing a black shirt that has a white skull and colorful flowers and a pair of blue jeans. Her shoulder length hair is brown and fades into a purple towards the end.
“Suit yourself.” he shrugged then walked out of the room. I know we kinda just went over this, but he can just walk out of class like that?
“So, Charlotte. Why’d you move here?” she said as she walked over to me and everyone else went back to their own thing.
“I moved here because my step dad got a good job offer.”
“Boring and generic.” Maccon rolled her eyes.
“Well sorry that m-” I started with my eyes closed.
“DING! DING!”
“That’s the bell, gotta go.” When I opened my eyes, Maccon was out of the room. I grabbed my stuff and headed to my next class.
