Good old William Wordsworth, with that name he was practically born for the written word. Many critics think that his work declined in his forties because, like an angsty teen, all the things he wrote about were no longer concerns for the successful poet. However, "The Prelude" now considered to be his masterpiece, was published after his death by his wife.
As always, comments and criticisms are always appreciated and if you have any poem/short story requests just leave them in the comments!
I’d love to see photo interpretations of these visual poems set in a full scene rather than just an accompanying illustration. Not as a replacement, but something that could be a separate project, really capturing the meaning of the words and visualizing it. Even nonsensical pictures thrown around a page. I think it would be really cool to look at and also a way to improve your own style of art :)
Hello! Drawing in Verse is a project I started as a cross between Architecture and Literature for my undergraduate thesis and have had so much fun I just had to share!
