He fidgeted apprehensively when neither alien spoke, just stared. "Kenny, please get onto the table." Cho turned away momentarily, rubbing something in her hands at the counter. Kenny shot a glance at Exo, but the quiet alien just watched him like a hawk.
He sighed through his nose, not shy about his body but uneasy with letting a alien poke and prod at him. He took tense steps forward, only beginning to undress once he was beside the table. As he folded his clothes he purposely avoided looking at either alien, knowing they may very well know nothing about the human body.
The table felt freezing against his butt, but he said nothing about it. "Thank you, now I will begin by just asking some simple questions," Cho approached Kenny carefully, eyeing him up and down, but not in a sexual manner at all.
Kenny knows she is merely trying to deduce exactly what his body is made of. "Sure, go on ahead." Kenny kept a cool head and relaxed state of mind, knowing he should try to just go with whatever happens. "I will begin from the to then work my way down for the questions about your body. First, your hair; what is it made of?" Cho leaned forward to cut off a small bit of hair, nothing that Kenny would miss. "Ah, it is a type of protein called keratin. I don't know a lot about it, to be honest. The human body has never been my specialty."
Literally. That statement goes both ways. Cho nodded her head, putting the small hairs in a weird spherical compartment, the top sliding off then right back. "And what about your surface layer?" Kenny frowned, confused for a few moments before he realized she meant skin. "We call that our skin, and our skin is made up of cells that are called epidermises. They make up this layer, the layer that you can touch and see." Kenny held out his hand, allowing Cho to touch his pam with the tip of her finger.
"May I take a sample?" Cho met his eyes, glowing eyes imploring that he accepts. "Yeah, just be-," she cut him off by extending her claw-like nails to scrape his skin. A thin red line went from his thumb the opposite side of his palm. Kenny bit the inside of his cheek, reminding himself to be patient with the aliens. Cho hurriedly went back to the counter and placed the skin sample inside one of those small spherical compartments.
Kenny noticed that it turned the same color of his skin, so he looked for the one that held his hair and found that it had turned dark brown- just like his hair. "Eyes, what are they like on the inside?" Cho came back over, studying his face. "Sorry, talking internal stuff kind of grosses me out," Kenny grimaced, remembering all those times he had to sit through lectures. Now if it's another organism, then he is totally fine. He just hates hearing about inside systems, and just how easily he could screw one of them up.
"Besides, our eyes aren't too different from the eyes you guys have." Sure, they don't have the white background, most of them simply have a black or white sclera, the area where human eyes are white. Then there's the fact that the aliens' irises have an unnatural glow, but it's rather interesting to Kenny who has seen very few organisms with such traits. The pupils that are slitted remind Kenny of reptiles or cats, mostly reptiles since their irises are contracted most of the time, especially snakes or gators. Cho nodded, but seemed disappointed to not find out anything about the eyes yet.
"Nose?" Cho pointed at his noise, and Kenny couldn't hide his smile. He just found it amusing being asked what the nose is for, since breathing is instinct to them. The alien's have noses too though, sure they may be narrower and their nostrils not as defined, but they still look like noses. "Well, the nose has multiple purposes. The main is for breathing, of course. It's a part of our respiratory system, for breathing and inhaling air. Without air, well we always need air - period. We don't last long at all without out."
Cho watched him intently, not even taking notes. Kenny briefly wondered if they even need to take notes for anything, they've already proved that they are clearly the superior race. "Another purpose of the nose is smelling. We aren't exactly known for our sense of smell though," Kenny admitted. Yeah, he can smell when Kat is close to burning down the kitchen, but his sense of smell has always just been average. Kenny understands humans have a crappy sense of smell, whereas animals have way better noses, such as dogs and almost every other animal. Cho nodded, taking more notes on the glowing pad.
"Lips?" Cho leaned in, pointing at Kenny's lips. "Talking and eating. Though our tongue is really what we use to talk. Our mouth is just the first step to ingesting food. We have digestive system that prosses what we eat into nutrients and energy then turns the rest into waste." And so Kenny continued, doing his best to inform the basics. He wasn't becoming bored, because it was interesting to see how Cho would react. Most of her reactions to his explanations were weird looks, like she couldn't believe why human ears are round and what the purpose for finger nails were.
Unfortunately, they quickly got to the part where Kenny was dreading to talk about. "And that?" Cho pointedly looked at Kenny's flaccid member, because there's nothing like having an alien look at your private part like that. "Well," Kenny cleared his throat while he tried to think about how to explain it appropriately. "I'll just begin simple. It's called a couple names, but the appropriate terms are cock and penis. Gunner, Benny, and I all have it."
Cho's face screwed up a bit. "The others do not have this?" Cho questioned, taking more notes. "No, they have what is called a vagina." Kenny didn't bother mentioning that Honey used to have a penis too, because it really isn't his business to tell and it would probably only confuse them. "Look, I am not your guy when it comes to their anatomy. You can ask them about it when it's their turns." Cho pressed her lips into a thin line, giving Kenny the idea that they probably don't have the same anatomy now.
"Do your kind not have something similar?" Kenny swallowed his pride and gestured to his member. "No, they are a little close, but not very close." While it will be strange to find out, it excited Kenny to find out what their reproduction systems must be like. Not for a perverted reason, but because he is a passionate biologist. No doubt, Brooks will also be elated to hear that they have a different form of a reproductive system and probably other unique systems.
After that the examination continued, Kenny answering all of Cho's questions to the best of his ability and helping her try to understand its purpose. "Thank you, Kenny. That will be all," Cho seemed to try to wave at him, but it really just ended up looking like her fingers were having a seizure. He hopped off the strange table, resisting the urge to inspect everything. Exo left his spot against the wall and picked up Kenny's clothes, approaching the young human.
"Dress," he ordered, holding out the clothes. Kenny was all too happy to fulfill that request, because Exo was rather blatantly staring at his nude form but with no expression whatsoever. "Kenny!" He was jumped by Brooks, who looked way too excited for the medical exam. "How was it? Did you tell Cho about our brain yet? Or our instincts? I have a feeling they are going to love that," Brooks began to ramble, and even Kenny was having some trouble keeping up with her.
"Yes," he suddenly said, a little loud. He knew Exo was probably about to just grab him and pull him away, but Brooks' own guardian looked like he was used to it already. "Cho is ready for you," Kenny stated, stepping out of the way. Brooks practically floated past him and into the room, followed by the alien that didn't even pass Kenny or Exo a glance when he passed them. Kenny held his tongue and questions, because who knows if they have enhanced hearing.
"Where to now?" Kenny questioned, looking at Exo. He merely grabbed Kenny's shoulder in response and began to lead him down the identical hallways, or they at least appeared identical to Kenny. "I will begin to teach you of our ways," Exo said, but Kenny couldn't help but crack a smile. It sounds like a line from the 2010 Karate Kid. It's an old movie, but Kenny's mom had a thing for watching old movies and forcing him to also watch them.
"Please, sensei." Kenny joked, but he realized from Exo's confused expression that there was practically no way for him to get the reference. "Ah, sorry. Nevermind," Kenny awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. They were back in Exo's room in no time, and Exo merely forced Kenny to sit on the bed that was still lacking any pillows. Something that mildly bothered Kenny who loves to hug pillows. Exo approached what seemed to be some sort of storage on the wall, it was almost like a shelf but lacked any boards to hold things.
Kenny can only assume it is probably a panel that opens to reveal something. "First, you will learn of the rest of your crewmates," Exo murmured, his voice taking on a strange note. It wasn't loud and was actually quite low. Perhaps he was trying to mimic the way that humans lower their voices? Kenny can, once again, only guess. Exo pressed his palm against the panel, on the two boards parted in the middle to reveal a strange screen. It almost looked like water, but when Exo touched it the thing sort of wobbled like a spider web.
"All of your fellow crewmates who are on this ship will also be seeing this," Exo stated, "Prepare yourself." Exo's features tightened for only a second before releasing. Kenny felt his hands become clammy as he sat there and waited, just knowing it wasn't going to be good news. The strange device flickered, then the recording started. It showed the human fleet and all the ships, and the Alpha vessel was in the lead. He watched as the smaller alien vessels surrounded the fleet, so many of them that he couldn't even count them.
