Hours pass and finally it was time for me and Joshua to head over to the house.
Once we make it there I ringed the doorbell waiting for someone to answer. I tilt my head and cross my arms as I tapped on the doorstep of the house. Blaze opened the door slowly for us and lets us in.
"So your name is Joshua? I'm Lace nice to meet you" Blaze says sitting down on the couch next to me and Joshua
"Nice to meet you too"
I pull out my phone and begin reading about the new school on my phone as Joshua and Blaze have their own conversation. Moments later Paige and Kris come running in and jumping all over me. I smile and place my phone down next to Joshua without realizing that I didn't lock my screen.
"Come on you two calm down and say hi" I sit them both down on my lap and point at Joshua
"Hi." Paige says softly
"Hi. I'm Mei what's your name?" Kris says
"I'm Joshua, Hi Mei and..." Joshua looks over to Paige
"Rayne" I mouth to him
"Rayne." Joshua says happily
"Hey, guys mind helping me out? There's a lot more than I thought there would be." Lyda says walking in with a giant bowl of salad.
I stand up taking Paige and Kris with me while Blaze stayed with Joshua to keep him company.
(Joshua's POV)
I notice that Cien left his phone next to me so I picked it up and it was already open. I see a picture of a colorful and bright school with girls and boys in blue and green uniforms walking in front of it.
"Hey is this the school you're both going to starting tomorrow?" I show the phone to Lace
"Yes that is the school" Lace answers
I look at the phone once again and begin reading about the school
'A school for killers?' I read
"This school that we are transferring to is going to be better than the one that my little brother is going to. No offense, but I personally think that he will like it better in this school than the current one that he is in." Lace explains.
I ignore him and continue to read on 'Practice for fighting tournament only on Monday-Thursday and Saturday.' It says
But before I could read on even further, the phone was snatched out of my hand.
