Hey y'all! I really thought everyone knew Dune, but when I try to talk about it outside of the internet all I get are shrugs.
Frank Herbert dreamed up this monstrosity of a series in 1957 while researching sand dunes off the coast of Oregon. The lovely ladies who use the Litany Against Fear, the Bene Gesserit, are a group of very physically and mentally strong women, to the point of becoming superhuman. It's nice to know that even unstoppable superwomen need comforting too.
