On Thursday at night in the middle of the lake. Old Man McGucket is rowing a boat with Gideon and Mabel in it.
“Boat in the night! Boat in the night!” McGucket laughs.
“Hah, you know I thought dancing was gonna be the end of the evening, right?” Mabel says.
Gideon leans in. “Don't you want this evenin' to last, my sweet?”
Mabel recoils. “NO! I mean yes. I mean I'm always happy to hang out with a friend, buddy, pal, chum, and other word for friend...”
“Pal?” Old Man McGucket says.
“I already said pal, uh, mate?”
“How about soul mate?” Gideon says.
Fireworks appear that show the name ‘Mabel’ within a heart.
“Well, you can't say no to that.” McGucket says.
(A/n: not helping yah know…)
The day after Mabel is pacing back and forth in front of Star.
“..I mean, he's so nice, but.. I can't keep doing this. But I can't break his heart.” She shouts. I have no way out!”
Dipper and Marco enters.
“What in the heck happened on that date?” Dipper asks.
“I don't know! I was in the friend zone, and then before I knew what was happening, he pulled me into the romance zone. It was like quick sand! Chubby quicksand!”
“Mabel, come on. It's not like you're gonna have to marry Gideon.” Marco says.
Stanford enters. “Great news, Mabel. You have to marry Gideon!”
(A/n: yup life is very ironic….)
“WHAT?!”
Star faints.
“It's all part of my long term deal with Buddy Gleeful. There's a lot of cash tied up in this thing. Plus I got this shirt.” He gestures to his ‘Team Gideon’ shirt. “Ugh, I am fat.”
Mabel and Star screams and runs out of the room.
“Bodies change, honey! Bodies change...”
The boys walks into the attic and seeing Mabel hiding in her sweater and Star hiding behind her hair.
“Oh no. Mabel...Star.” Marco says.
“We are not here. We’re in sweater and hair town.”
“Are you two gonna come out of sweater and hair town?” Dipper asks.
Mabel whines and Star shakes her head.
“Alright, enough is enough. If you can't break up with Gideon, We'll do it for you.” Marco says.
“You will?”
Dipper nods.
Mabel hugs Dipper. “Oh, thank you thank you thank you!”
“Alright.”
(A/n: let’s just hope it goes well…>=))
Later at The Club, where Gideon is sitting in a booth awaiting Mabel. Dipper and Macro enters, approaches Gideon and clears their throats.
“Oh. Dipper Pines, Marco Diaz, how are you guys? You look good, you look good.” Gideon says noticing them.
“Thanks, you uh... Look, Gideon. We've got to talk.” Dipper says.
“Mabel isn't joining you tonight, she uh, she doesn't want to see you anymore.” Marco says.
Dipper laughs nervously. “She's uh. She's kinda weirded out by you, no offense.”
Gideon eye twitches. “So what you two are sayin' is... you've...come between us.” His eye twitches again.
“You're not gonna like, freak out or anything, are ya?” Marco asks.
“Of course not. These things happen. Bygones, you know.”
“So. Okay. Cool. Then again, sorry man, but uh, hey, thumbs up. Huh?” Dipper says as he and Marco backs away.
“Thumbs up indeed, my friends.”
(A/n: uh-oh..)
Outside the exterior of the restaurant, Mabel and Star is waiting for Dipper and Marco, who both then exits the restaurant.
“How'd it go? Was he mad?” Mabel says. “Did he get sad?”
“Did he try to read your minds with his psychic powers?” Star asks. “If so I’ll just narwhal-”
“Don't worry, guys, he's just a kid. He doesn't have any powers.” Dipper says.
