I was going to guess her name is Atlas because maybe she's the keeper of all the world's maps and other guiding knowledge (would make sense since this seems like a super library)... but then I saw the comments about atlas moths, haha, so I suppose that's probably it (especially since, upon googling it, she is the right colors for that kind of moth). :p
Anyway, she has the best bedside manner and tactics, for sure. XDDD
Also I don't think he actually understands what meanness is, haha... I mean he was just kind of "mean" to her by not being grateful about getting the blood sucker off his foot. And I have this suspicion that he'll want to keep the slimeba as a "friend" but not let it feed on him or anyone else, thereby unintentionally torturing it with starvation. Also its poor little face, haha...
(Btw, your apostrophe is in the wrong place in the second-to-last panel. ^^;; "Its" shouldn't have an apostrophe, but "system's" should (assuming you were going for "system is" rather than "systems are", but something that small would only have one respiratory system, probably :p).)
