"Crappy Aokawa, are you feeling fine today?"
Mina, eyes brimming with tears, forced out a yes.
"You sure, Trashykawa?"
She nodded, but her interrupting sobs betrayed her. Looking at the calendar, she finally had it and broke into a whimper.
Today was their friendversary, the day when Hajime finally accepted her as a bestfriend. The day when they got closer, the day when they began looking out more for each other than usual.
Mina can never forget this day.
As a daily routine, she again walked to the cemetery and after a few turns, made her way in front of Hajime's grave, its scent brimming with the flowers she just placed there yesterday.
Nevertheless, she replaced it with new ones.
Staring at the tombstone, she broke into a small sob and began to tell what is recently happening in her life.
"Mi-kun..." she started. "Before everything, I want to say again that I always miss you....Mi-kun..."
She cried and cried while telling her daily stories.
"Trashykawa, you're so crappy."
"I know, Mi-kun."
Mina's life goes with this all too the same scene everyday, and it never failed to cease.
She was a good setter once, but that was only the time when she was still with Hajime. Now that he's gone, Mina's mental and emotional state collapsed for the person that was always there for her died.
That day he died was the day Mina wished everything was normal, for once. She and Hajime would as usual, go to practice, boys will flock over him, and Hajime will be there to take her away from the fanboys.
Mina never said it, but she always appreciated Hajime for always taking her away.
