" Pick between crappy and trashy,"
"I choose crappy, then!"
Mina stared at her alarming phone before turning it off.
Still wearing her unicorn pajamas she stood up and stared at the window, up to the morning sky.
It has been 4 years, isn't it?
It has been 4 years since her Mi-kun got into an accident, died, and the time when everything was taken way from Mina. The day when her bestfriend died in her arms, and the day when she felt like as if life isn't worth the living. She could have given up that same day, if only she didn't made a promise with Hajime.
"Oi, keep on living, idiot. There are many people who need you, and you have to face everyone as the best setter I always knew. Calm, composed and strong. Can you promise me that, Trashykawa? Thanks. And I love you too, Mina, by the way.I mean it, not in a friendly way, but something more special than that. I hope we meet again. In the next life, maybe,"
She didn't even say "I love you" to his Mi-kun, yet he already returned it. All along, Hajime loved her. Her bestfriend who always kept her stable and balanced always loved her. Mina can't believe the heavens for such cruelty. They didn't even have the chance to be together as a couple, or cherish their moments in a more special way.
There were so many 'if only'.
Hajime kept the team together, yet he wasn't here. Slowly, they drifted apart until their club dissolved.
With Mina breaking apart, their teammates are at loss on what to do. Hajime is already gone. They lost a friend, a teammate, an ace. And specifically next, a setter who always brought out the best in them.
The two were the pillars of the team.
Sadly, they crumbled, and the powerhouse that they're supporting were now all in ruins.
