Darkness without night surrounds me.

I feel it’s touch in all the things around me.

It’s winning this time.

It’s weight heavy on my mind.

Things I did and said.

Gave it sway within my head.

“Become one without light.”

It whispers at the edge of my sight.

I fight not to give in.

I don’t see any way to win.

Something wicked this way is done.

I have nowhere left to run.
