I grabbed my pillows and carried them into the living room. I set them down on the floor while telling Makoto my life story. He was surprised, but not as much as I thought he would be. "You mentioned someone named Vapula..." He said, "Who's that?" I laughed at the question. "Oh, she's my pet demon. She kind of has the spirit of Sarah." "Cool." He replied. "You can't see her of course, because she is a demon, so only other demons can see her," I said. "Vapula!" I yelled, "Get in here!" In a few moments, she appeared at door. She looked down at Makoto. She gasped and flew back into the hallway. "Don't worry, he's safe," I said. "Plus, he can't see you..." Vapula slowly flew back in. "Vapula, knock over those books." Vapula nodded and pushed over the books. "Woah..." Makoto said. He told me that he's an orphan, and that his parents were murdered when he was 6. "Damn... that must me hard for you.. living lonely by yourself... I at least have Vapula to keep me company..." I said. "Yeah it's tough, but I get through it." Makoto said. "Where do you even sleep?" I questioned. "In the school basement." He replied.  'What the..? The school basement?! That's crazy! How did people not know that someone was sleeping in the basement for 11 years!?'Makato must of saw the look on my face, because he said, "Oh, it's not that bad once you get used to it." "Dude, you can not sleep down there" I demanded. "But where else would I sleep?" He asked. "Here" I shot out. "Sleep here." 'What the hell did I just get my self into..!'
