Author’s Note

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read through my story, but this story is merely a rough draft. It was really embarrassing to me to put this on the Internet for others to read. My first drafts are always terrible, and I was not very well prepared to write a good, thoughtful story.

I did it for myself. I did it to motivate myself to write more and to finish something that I started. There are a few problems I have with posting rough drafts, however. To me, a rough draft is usually just my way of getting to understand the characters and the world I’ve built for them. It’s more like prewriting because I really didn’t spend that much time outlining it--not as much time as I probably should have.

That means that I will be totally rewriting it into something more coherent and thoughtful for the next draft. The characters will be different, and some of the rules for the world will be different. I might even give some of the characters different angels that will possess them. I’ve written several notes that I think will make the next draft more interesting.

It’ll be a totally different and better story (imo), but I will not be posting the entire story on here. My goal from the beginning was to publish it through Kindle Direct Publishing. If you would like a free copy of it, I’ll let you know when I publish it, and then I’ll ask you to give me a private message saying that you want a free copy. The only rules would be that you need an Amazon account and be someone who had subscribed to this project before the project was published (I’ll be keeping track).

I can’t thank those of you who gave me a chance enough, and I hope you’ll be interested in anything else that I have plans to write. I will be participating in Tapas’ Writer’s Camp this July, so be on the lookout for that!
