Monsieur Eli looked puzzled as he gazed at the intimidating figure in front of him, hiding in the dark shadows. Obviously frightened at the sudden apparition that stood before him, He knew somehow that this was possibly his doing, so he awaited whatever happened next. Either the figure would kill him, which he secretly hoped for, as that would reunite him with his darling Bela, or the figure would work for him, which would also delight him.

"ELI..." the figure began, "YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A WAY TO END THE MISERY IN MANKIND. IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT I HAVE A WAY TO ASSIST YOU..."
