Alex was cleaning the tables as they were about to open shop soon. Zank looked over at him, wondering how he was doing. The bar was quite popular in town, sometimes people would ask why Alex was wearing a ski cap which used to tick him off. Zank sighed and opened shop.

Alex was a hard worker, perhaps he worked too hard, but Zank can't really stop him. Customers come and go, ordering booze or sometimes food. Some go there just to cry over something like family issues or failing the knight's exams. Zank was wondering when Alex was going to apply to be a knight, he wanted Alex to achieve his dreams, but there was a small part of him that wanted him to fail and continue working at the bar.

Alex had told him that he met a strange man, more of a kid actually, yesterday. How would a kid be able to grant unlimited power? It was probably a good thing Alex declined.

Around the afternoon, a squad of royal knights barged in for a drink. Alex went to take their order, they acted like normal customers, which relieved Zank. Sometimes royal knights would get cocky and harass Alex. They were all kicked out by Alex himself.

Guess it was a normal day after all, no trouble no nothing, Zank had thought.

Right after that, almost seemed like karma, the royal knights stood up and pointed at a skinny looking boy. They walked towards him and held him by the collar of his shirt. Alex immediately stepped in, "Why are you picking on kids? "

"Step down, this kid is on the wanted posters. " The one holding onto the kid said.

"Whatever could you be talking about? " The kid said sarcastically.

The royal knight holding onto him raised his fist, but Alex stepped in. Unfortunately, the royal knights this time were professionals, so Alex got smacked aside.

"Any last words before you go to jail, F? " He said to the kid.

The kid laughed, "Even though I did nothing wrong? Soooooo selfish. "

The knight started walking out the door with the kid, followed by his two buddies. Who knew work could be so hard?
