It’s been a few weeks since I talked to Mrs. Potts and she was right, once Adam and I forgot about everyone else and only focused on ourselves things started to go back to normal between us. We were still spending all of our time together but it was different now. We talked, laughed and had fun together. He’s not as angry as he was before and I feel like where getting closer. Adam and I were walking into class when the teacher stopped me at the door.

“Belle may I speak to you for a moment please.” I nodded and tossed Adam a smile as he walked into the classroom and I stayed out in the hall with the teacher. “Isabelle we received a call from the company your father's working with.” He handed me a pink slip. “Well you need to call them, go down to Mrs. Flora’s office, she will explain things to you.” I thanked my teacher and practically ran to Mrs. Flora’s office. As soon as I got there, she closed the door and sat me down on the small red sofa.

“What happened?” I needed to know what happened. Mrs. Flora sighed

“From what we were told there was an accident at your father's lab.

“Is…Is he okay?”

“He’s in the hospital, they want us to fly you out right away.” I nodded, only half listening to what she was saying. She handed me and envelope and explained that it had everything I would need to get to my father. I left her office and headed to my room to pack; my father is the only family that I have. My mother died when I was just a baby and I’m an only child. I can’t lose my father… I don’t know what I would do without him.

“Belle!” I looked at the door to my room to find Adam standing in it. As soon as I saw him I couldn’t hold it in anymore, I ran over to him and started to cry into his chest. Without saying anything he held me close to him. Maneuvering me around while I still held onto him he closed the bedroom door and walked me over to my bed. He sat with me in his lap and just let me cry until I couldn’t cry anymore. He ran his hands through my hair and waited to ask what was going on until I was settled. I told him everything that Mrs. Fiona told me. “Alright, I’ll drive you to the airport.” He helped me finish packing my small suitcase and walked me down to the parking garage where he put my suitcase in the trunk and buckled me into the passenger seat. He slid into the driver seat and we started to drive. As we drove I looked out the window. I feel so torn, I need to go see my father to make sure he is okay, yet… I don’t want to leave Adam.
