Sage Hisoku (Hisoku Sage)
Sage is a sixteen-year-old, fifth-year student enrolled in Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. He is a Slytherin that has a dream to become a professional Quidditch player.
He was born in Kobe, Japan to two wizards. His father was an Auror for the Japanese ministry, while his mother stayed home to take care of the family. She had come overseas from England. Originally a student in Hogwarts, she met Sage’s father after a multi-national quidditch tournament where students of all the wizarding school competed. When they met, it was love at first sight. After she finished school, she moved to Japan where they had three children
Then, everything changed when he was the age of nine. Both his parents accepted jobs within the Wizarding Ministry in Britain. By that time, Sage and his brothers were old enough to attend Mahoutokoro, the Japanese wizarding school. However, while his two brothers were old enough to dorm within the caste. Sage was forced to move across the world, leaving his school and friends.
Sage, held great resentment being unable to stay in Japan. During his first years in England, Sage was taken care of by his aunt while his parents went off to the ministry. Being a squib, his aunt was able to teach him muggle culture as well as British wizarding culture.
He also hated how he couldn’t learn any more magic until he was invited to the national wizarding school. After two years, he was overjoyed when a parchment brown owl, an early birthday present from his father, delivered his welcome letter to Hogwarts.
On the day he arrived at Hogwarts, he was amazed at how different it was from Mahoutokoro. Never would he imagine the Scottish castle his mother grew up in would be so wondrous. At the start-of-term feast, Safe was nervous to step up to the sorting hat in front of everyone. Would he be a Hufflepuff like his mother? Maybe he would be sorted into the legendary Gryffindor house, where famous wizard and Auror Harry Potter was from.
The hat took a moment to analyze him before sorting declaring him a cunning Slytherin. Worried he was placed in a house where many dark wizards came from, Sage entered his new home cautiously. But soon, he quickly learned to appreciate his house and made many friends.
Because of his previous time spent at Mahoutokoro, he was a very advanced student. Along with his basic requirements, Sage was able to take more advanced classes. The teachers in school agreed, the boy was gifted, especially in potions and the defense of dark arts. Many even said he would grow up to be an Auror like his father.
But, Sage had no interest in working in the ministry. No, since he was a child, he wanted to become a Quidditch player. By his second year at Hogwarts, he was welcomed to the team as their newest chaser. Only being a rookie player, Sage was on a level that could rival eighth years, mainly due to the training his brothers put him through during his summer trips to Japan.
It also wasn’t until his second year where he met Clemont
------
Clemont O'Reilly:
Clemont is a sixteen-year-old, fifth-year student enrolled in Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He is a third generation Ravenclaw who enjoys using charms to pursue music.
He was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland to a witch and a muggle. Living in between the muggle and magical world, he grew up with both aspects heavily impacting his life. Both he and his little sister Emily showed magic potential at a young age, and both their parents could not be prouder.
Because his mother is a skilled metal-charmer for magical items, he was exposed to various types of spells at a young age. There was even an incident where his trace revealed him casting a mending charm unaware of the issue. It was all resolved without punishment, but Clemont’s interest in magic was sparked.
Another intense passion in Clemont’s life was his love of music. By the early age of ten, he had already learned three instruments, as well as being a very well versed singer. Magic was a sort of ‘muggle magic’ to Clemont, and he always had a song in his heart.
Finally, shortly after his eleventh birthday, Clemont received his letter to Hogwarts. Clemont vaguely remembers his trips to Diagon Alley, but the day he got his wand was a day he will never forget. Ollivander selected the perfect wand for him. Rosewood, 10” Vella tongue core. He was ecstatic to use it, but he had to wait until he got to school.
When he arrived at Hogwarts, the beautiful Scottish castle stunned him. This is where so much magical history occurred, from the founding of the school to the great wizard war against the dark lord Voldemort. At the start-of-term feast, Clemont struggled to contain his glee. He was practically bouncing off the walls waiting for his turn to be sorted. It was no surprise when he was placed in Ravenclaw, and the older years of the house welcomed him with open arms.
I wouldn’t say Clemont was a bad student, but it’s evident from his grades that he prioritized charms overall. It was unbelievable how terrible he was at potions, to the point the headmaster excused him from ALL future potions classes. It was also common to find him snoozing in his other classes, staying up the previous night to practice his charms.
By his second year he was successfully able to patent a spell he formed on his own, ‘encanta,’ used to develop symphonies of music with a flick of a wand. Anyone close to him can tell when he’s around, due to the floating music notes continuously floating around him.
His second year was also a big deal because that was the first time he met Sage.
