Man, this was a longer story than I expected.
To be honest, this a rewritten version of a story I wrote a while back. I wanted to see if and how I've advanced as a writer, and what better way than reworking your own narrative, yeah?

I expect, with the standard of entertainment now, this wouldn't really be considered NSFW. Maybe NSFK (not safe for kids) as maybe some of them don't like the idea of blood/killing. But work wise, which usually points to adults, totally ok.
I liked the development, the idea that at first, the killer had a purpose, almost vigilante, killing any woman who abused her child, and then it escalated to simply killing any woman who reminded him of his mother. Since your aim is a short story, the length was alright, but I would have preferred if more was described. The sensations, the breakdown, how the killer explained the change in targets to himself, to rationalise it...
But that's just me! Other than that, I liked it! As long as I'm not the one being killed. *never uses anything Lavendar scented ever again*
