"Kenzie? Mackenzie honey, are you okay?" Mackenzie looked up to see her father standing in front of her.

She looked past her father to see Grace being questioned by a police officer, then she saw a paramedic helping Freddies mother from the ground.

Mackenzie bit her lip to stop herself from crying as she shook her head. Jason pulled her into a hug making her burst into tears.

Her thoughts were a mess. Everything was just so overwhelming and she wished that she could tell her dad everything, but for his safety and her own, she couldn't.

She wasn't sure how could she could go on with her life knowing that vampires existed and that they're the reason for these so called animal attacks.

While innocent civilians are being used as blood bags, authorities were out searching for a maniac serial killer or a crazy animal. While they were searching for the answer in the wrong place, Mackenzie stayed safe and snug at home, knowing that the creature killing people was unstoppable.

"Its okay. Your going to be okay." Jason soothingly said, rubbing her back. Mackenzie wished that she could believe her fathers words.

Nobody was safe. No matter who you are, these monsters would kill you. Mackenzie knew that, and she also knew that all of this, was just the beginning.
