This picture was taken when I was still a freshman at Berkeley, drawing comics in my dorm room. I never thought that two years later, I'd be here with Tapastic, getting to do this as part of my job! And getting to be part of an awesome community, and taking part in one of the coolest ventures in all of comic-making history.
This is one of my favorite quotes. I'm not implying that I was destined to be a great artist or that this is the reason for my existence, but if you love something, continue to do it! I know the use of a photo ... of myself... is sort of weird. But I'd like to say that if you feel the strong urge to make your idea come to life, you should. I promise you you won't regret it. Who has ever regretted creating art?
