“Hurry up Clari, we’ll be late!”
“I’m coming!”
She quickly ran her fingers through her uncontrollable red locks in attempt to tidy herself a little before running to the door where her boss was waiting for her.
“What took you so long, we have important things to do today girl, do you want me to burn that ring of yours?”
“Oh no, please don’t do that, I’m sorry I won’t be late again”
“Hmph, very well just hurry up”
She nods her head and they both make their way out of the room and head for town.
“What do we have to do today, boss?”
“Things, be patient girl, you will find out soon, now shut up and let me think”
Clarinette sighs quietly, her head flopping towards the ground as they walked in silence. They finally made their way into town and stopped in front of bakers as her boss had to go inside the shop next to it.
The luscious smells of freshly baked bread made its way to Claris nose causing her stomach to rumble loudly. She blushed and looked at her boss in hope that he hadn’t heard her.
“Hungry are we Clari?”
“N-no, of course not boss, you fed me yesterday”
He dug his hand into his pocket taking out some money and an envelope. He held it out to her; she looked at it in confusion.
“Go and get yourself some food, my treat”
Clarinettes eye sparkled at the random kindness of her boss; it was strange he was never kind.
“Really boss?”
He raised his eyebrows, giving a look of disgust,
“No of course not you stupid girl, take the money and give it to Harry for ‘you know what’”
“Oh...”
Clarinettes face dropped instantly, her eyebrows crinkled as she bit her lips.
“Well what are you waiting for, go and get it!”
“Y-YES BOSS!”
She took the money and envelope from him and stuffed it into her pockets before running off to Harrys. She reached the store in no time and opened the door walking inside; the bell rang as she stepped inside.
“Little Clari, what can I do for you”
“Err, can I have ‘you know what’, boss requested it”
He nodded his head, “Anything for good old Gabe”

James wondered down the town, the girl from the day before was still on his mind and he was determined to find out just who she was.
“Where does a stupid red head hide, it’s not hard to miss a bright red haired girl prancing around in some old boy rags, in fact you definitely will not miss it”
He complained to himself, causing people to give him strange looks, he walked pass them completely oblivious.
James sighs and stops in front of the bakers, he took one more quick look around before making his way inside the shop. He ordered a coffee and sat near the window, so he had a full view of outside.
“I bet Jessica isn’t even her real name, I can’t believe I fell for her stupid tears”
He took a large gulp of his coffee and then slammed the cup down onto the table, causing the side of it to crack.
“E-err Mr”
“WHAT!?”
“I was told to warn you, if you keep bothering the other customers you have to leave”
He turned around to find one of the staff, she cowered away from him. He sighs, his eyes softening slightly.
“I’m sorry, I’m just rather stressed right now, please forgive me behaviour”
He took her hand and placed a small kiss on it, she blushed and nodded her head, her fear disappearing.
“It’s alright sir; would you like another cup of coffee?”
“Please”
He smiled at her as she walked away from, as soon as she was no longer in view his smile dropped, replaced by a much sterner look. He lets out another sigh before looking out the window.
Right in front of the bakers was a young red haired girl talking to an older, dodgy looking man. He watched as the man gave the girl some money and an envelope before running off. He stood up instantly, slamming his fist on the table.
“I FOUND YOU”
He dug his hands through his pocket, taking out some money and chucking it on the table leaving his half drunken coffee behind. He ran towards the exit of the bakery, passing the same girl that had served him earlier. She held another cup of coffee in her hands, her eyes widen as she watches him running towards the door.
“Moneys on the table, thanks for the coffee”
He winked at her before exiting the bakery, looking around for the girl.
“There’s no way I’ll lose you now I know where you are”
He scanned the vicinity with his eyes and spotted red curls disappearing down an alleyway. He smirked.
“Found you”
