Clarinette yawned, opening her eyes. Rays of suns hit her amber orbs causing her to blink a few times to allow her eyes to adjust to the light.

After finally getting used to the light Clari focused on her surroundings, she was in a different room than usual. She then looked down to find that she was wearing an oversized mans top, her eyes widen as she lifts it up to reveal her naked body. She quickly pulls it down and brings her knees closer to her body in embarrassment. Where am I?

“Boss!”

Instead of the usual reply she got an annoyed groggy reply from other side of the bed,

“Shut up...I’m trying to sleep”

Clari shrieks kicking James out of the bed and grabbing the pillows around her to throw at him. The first one hit its target but he caught the second and third with ease.

“What are you doing in my bed!?”

His eyebrows crinkled in confusion and annoyance,

“What do you mean your bed, it’s mine you idiot!”

James sighed as he fried the eggs for their breakfast,

“I’ve told you constantly that I saved you from your fiend of a boss and took you here as you were unconscious”

“That doesn’t explain why you slept in the same bed as me!”

“I didn’t do anything! Who would want to anything with an ugly pig like you anyway, I just wasn’t going not sleep in MY bed because of you!”

Clarinette gasped at his words, tears twinkled in her eyes.

“Why do you have to be so mean, I hate you!”

She stood up from the chair and ran out of the house causing him to growl in annoyance.

“Why is she such an idiot, I mean who runs down the street half naked?”

He sighs, rolling his eyes and places an egg on each plate, setting them both out some food. He began to wait for her whilst eating his breakfast.

He was in the middle of chewing another bit of egg when Clarinette walked back inside the house, her face was as red as a tomato. She slumped into the chair with the breakfast set out for her. James nodded his head, acknowledging her before finishing his food.

“You know you’re more stupid than I thought you were”

“Shut up!” She shouted still pink in the face.

He smirked at her, resting his head on his hands as he watched her eat her food. A smile crept onto her face with each bite she took.

“You’re cooking makes up for your horridness you know” She said with a mouthful of food.

“Yeah well I’m too sure that there’s anything that makes up for you”

She rolled her eyes, “Sure there is”

“Oh really, do tell me”

“The fact that I’m a better person than you says a lot you know”

“Is that so?”

“Yup!”

He raised his eyebrow at her; she really was a strange person.

After they had both finished eating and insulting each other, James finally said that they had to discuss what had happened the night before and what would happen in the future.

“First of all, your name isn’t Jessica is it?”

She shook her head and held out her hand,

“No it’s not, I’m Clarinette, but you can call me Clari for short, it’s a pleasure to meet you”

He dismissed her hand and carried on with the questioning, she slowly took it back, disappointment on her face.

“What’s an elementii doing in the norms land?”

She tilted her head in confusion, “What’s an elementii?”

“Don’t play the fool; you’re from one of the four kingdoms and from what I saw yesterday, you’re from the water kingdom”

Her eyes lit up, “You know where I live!?”

“What are you talking about, how do you not know?”

She frowned and looked down at the table,

“Well from as long as I can remember I’ve been here...I was left with only a ring a zero knowledge of who I actually was, all I know is that I don’t come from here.”

“Well you’re right about that...”

“Do you by any chance have my ring...Gabe took it off me...I had to do as he said otherwise he wouldn’t keep his promise to me, he said he knew where it came from and would take me there one day”

He frowned at her, “Did you really believe him?”

She smiled sadly, “What else did I have to believe in?

He was the only one who ever treated me like I was actually something”

“He was using you”

“I-I know...”

He sighed and took out something in his pocket, he held out a small blue ring with a small blue dragon crest on it to Clarinette.

“Here, I found it on him when I took him to the station”

Clarinette took the ring and smiled happily at it, placing it on her finger,

“Thank you so much for bringing it back to me”

“No problems...” He smiled slightly; her happiness was affecting him as well.

“Could you tell me more about the four kingdoms and its people?”

He nodded his head and began to explain all about the Elementii world.

“There was on big kingdom but it was split by a war many years ago, there is now the water kingdom, earth kingdom, wind kingdom and the fire kingdom. Each kingdom has a mix of norms and Elementii’s. The kingdom your from decides what element you can manipulate, for example you can manipulate liquids, so you must be from the water kingdom.”

“Oh I get it! That must mean you’re from the fire kingdom!”
