I made my usual rounds through the dark water kingdom trying to avoid my twin brother Axel. As soon as the coast was clear, I swam to the surface. As the sun beamed down on my skin, I saw something falling from the sky. When I looked closer, the figure was a girl. I used my water magic as fast as I could to catch the falling maiden. The water receded as I grabbed to the girl and brought her to the shore. As she opened her eyes, she shot straight up with a smile on her face. "Yes! I'm free, no stupid crown, no big fancy dresses!" she danced around like nobody was watching and all I could do was laugh. "So you fell from the sky on purpose?" I ask with laughter in my voice.

"My name is Princess Lienepha of the sky realm, soon to be queen. I would much rather be called Lina though. Today was the day I was supposed to be crowned Queen of the sky but as you can see, there's no way I wanted that," As she continued to tell her story, she would make gestured and give visuals of what happened. In a way, it was cute. "So you have 5 older brothers but none of them wanted to be king?" I asked. She sat down next to me with a fiery look in her face. "Yes and I told father about it but he was 'No, you don't get a say in this. I'm the king and I make ALL the right choices!'" She spoke in a deep voice to represent her father and I couldn't help but laugh. "Well enough about me, what's your story? Wait I don't even know what species you are." I look up at her and could have sworn I saw stars brighter than the sun. "Well my name is Shudo Ichigo, I'm a dark water prince but I chose to be a knight instead. I have a younger twin brother names Axel Ao that gets the crown. I'm glad he gets it, I would much rather live on the surface than in the dark waters of this lifeless sea. I hate it down there. Everyone acts like I could kill them in an a heart beat but I don't even use my magic for bad." I look at the palm of my hand and clench it closed. I look at Lina to see tears in her eyes. trying to fight them back. I wipe away her tears but couldn't bring my hand down from her cheek. "You have very different eyes." I say leaning in close to her but I quickly pull back. "I'm so sorry! That was uncalled for. I uh-" my face felt and suddenly I felt a hand on mine. "It's okay, it doesn't happen as often as you think." She kisses me on the cheek and I lay back in a surprise.

Lina and I sat and talked for hours. When the sun began to set, Lina took my hand and held it. "Have you ever seen a more beautiful sunset?" She asked. I looked at the sunset and back at her and smiled. "No." I say and she looks at me. Out of no where, and army of men fell from the sky and surrounded the two of us. Lina leaned closer to me and I could see she knew the men. "Princess Lienepha! You are to come with me peacefully or in chains!"
