Welp...

I guess my cousin wasn't actually a complete nutcase three summers ago.

After I finished seventh grade, my mother and I vacationed in the Dominican Republic and met my native family there. Our family insisted that me and her become fast friends and do everything together, because I was an only child and so was she.

"You two can be like sisters!" Our mutual mothers would always parrot back to us and each other.

I... I didn't like her at first.

She always looked... angry.

She seemed to stare bullets at this one man in particular...
