"H-hello...?" I mentioned. The whole class turned my way.

No answer. No one dared to reply. They just stared in shock. Then a tall, slender girl came up to me and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Well I'm supposed to be a student here...." I replied.

"Hah! You must be kidding me! A human? A mere human attending an elite school such as Merionna? Impossible!"  she exclaimed.

"But I am a student here so you can't really do anything about it," I sat down on the table as if I was the King, "Can you now?"

Silence. No-one, not even her said anything.

She got mad.

"What's your name?" she questioned.

"Yumeto." I answered, "And you, Miss Knows It All?"

"Melissa. I ,Melissa, challenge you, Yumeto, to a team duel. It will be held two days from today. Understood?" Melissa declared.

Of course I replied with this: 

"I, Yumeto, accept your challenge!" I grinned with excitement.

She smirked. Then left.

What was I thinking!? How can I battle against her when I don't even have a team!? I also doubt that anyone would want to team up with me; just because I'm a human.....

Everyone was whispering and beginning to spread rumors about me already.

I glared at everyone, they froze in their tracks. It seems they were afraid of me for some unknown reason.

"Whatever!" I murmured to myself.
