Yuu POV
I wanted to get away but my body didn't move. My mind went blank. I couldn't look up but I could feel that my classmates were staring at me, I could hear them muttering.
"Takashi you sly bastard!" Aki shouted suddenly, I could finally feel my body again.
"Yuu Wait! Yuu!" I heard Aki shouting after me as I ran off. I didn't know what to do or where to go but I just had to get away.
"Stupid, idiot" echoed in my mind. I went to the roof and just dropped on the floor. I covered my eyes with my arm, I was about to cry.
"How could I be so stupid?" I asked myself. "It's over, I'm going to be a laughing stock for the rest of the year." Worse and worse scenarios came to my mind.
I was tearing up as I heard the door open behind me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"I found you. I figured you would be here."
"Sorry Aki, I want to be alone right n..." I said as I turned around but it wasn't Aki. "Sora-kun???" I asked.
"Hey!" He waved. "You can call me Sora." He smiled. "I've seen the board, are you alrig... well I guess that's a stupid question, nobody would be okay after that." I've looked down in embarrassment. "What happened?" He asked.
"I c-confessed to..Ta-Takashi-kun." I staggered.
"Hmmmm, so he wrote that on the board."
"I'm not sure but probably...but are you okay? D-Don't you think I'm gross?" I asked looking at my shoes.
Sora sat down next to me. "Idiot! Don't say that!" He said as he gently placed his hand on my head. I blushed. "Well, I might say that just because I'm in the same boat." He continued.
"Huh?" I suddenly looked up. "Wait...do you mean you are...noooo way..."
"Yep, I'm gay." He said with an awkward smile.
I was lost in thoughts for a few seconds. "Yuu?" He called.
"Ah, sorry, I just didn't expect that. It's good to know that I'm not alone. Thank you for telling me! I won't say a word to anyone." He nodded with a smile.
"I'm really scared to face the others though." I continued.
"Don't worry, I'm here for you." He said as he patted my head. "You are going to be fine." I blushed again.
There was silence for a few seconds. "Sooo, what shall we do now?" He asked as he stood up.
"Uhm...I'm not really ready to go back...I think I'm gonna head home for the day." I answered.
"Alright, I understand" He said and reached his hand forward. I grabbed it with a bit of embarrassment and he pulled me up. He started to walk towards the door. "See you tomorrow then."
"Sora!" I shouted suddenly. "T-Thank you! I-It felt like I was drowning but you saved me so... thank you, really." I said with my hands behind my back, and with a face of an awkward tomato.
As I looked at him I saw the brightest smile of the world. "I'm glad I could help!" My heart suddenly started pounding...
