Aki POV

Yuu didn't come to school and he didn't respond to my messages. I guess he is more depressed than I thought.

"Aki" Someone called. "Can I talk to you?" It was Yamazaki Sora, a cheerful guy who was on good terms with everyone. "Sure." I answered.

"Have you heard anything from Yuu? You two are close friends right?" He asked.

I was surprised, he was the first person who actually gave a fuck about this whole situation, but I wanted to be cautious.

"Why do you care?" I asked.

"The truth is, I talked to him yesterday and..." I jumped up from my seat and interrupted him. "You talked to him? When? Where?"

"I found him on the roof after I've seen the board." He continued.

"I see, I was looking for him but I thought he went home to be alone." I said as I sat back to my chair. "I wasn't sure what to do..."

"I managed to calm him down yesterday but he didn't come to school today...I'm worried"

How could he possible calm him down in a mess like this...I thought.

"Anyway, can you tell me his address? Or at least his number?" He asked.

"I plan to visit him after school, we can go together." I offered since I was still suspicious, in a different way though.

"Alright, thank you!"

We walked to Yuu's house without talking, I guess both of us were lost in our thoughts.

"Well, here we are." I broke the silence when we arrived. "I hope he is alright."

I pressed the button on the bell. "Yes?" Asked a gentle voice behind the door.

"Good afternoon! It's Aki, I'm here to see Yuu with my classmate." I responded.

"Oh, come in!" Yuu's mom opened the door and invited us in.

After Sora introduced himself we headed to Yuu's room.

"Yuu! Aki-kun and Sora-kun are here to see you!" She yelled through the door.

"Haaaaa? Sora too? Wait wait wait! Don't c...Waaah" Yuu shouted suddenly followed by a loud noise.

Yuu POV

Satou Yuu, 18 years old, I was resting in bed with a fake cold when Aki and Sora came to visit. I figured the best way to greet them would be faceplanting the floor in a single underwear...

"Yuu? Are you alright?" Asked Aki poking the top of my head.

"Auch...T-That hurt" I staggered as I tried to sit up.

"Geh, your nose is bleeding, we need a tissue." He added.

"Why are you in just an underwear" Sora asked with a smirk. I blushed and pushed them out of my room. "Aaaah! G-Get out! Let me get dressed!" I could hear them laugh behind the door, I felt so embarrassed. After I stopped the bleeding and put on a short and a t-shirt I called them back with a sigh. "Okay, you can come in."

"Soooo..." Aki began. "How are you?"

"Well..." I mumbled and looked down at my feet.

"You are scared to face the others right?" Sora asked.

I nodded in agreement.

Aki took a deep breath. "Yuu." He kneeled in front of me and places his fist on my chest. "We will help you through this, I'll kick their ass if they hurt you. Don't worry alright?"

"That's right, you can count on us." Sora added and they both smiled at me.

I nodded and teared up a bit. "T-Thank you."

Aki stood up and patted me on my head. "I'll pick you up tomorrow morning, it may be a little easier to go together."

"Okay"

"Now..." Aki smacked my head lightly. "Let's talk about how you ignored me for 24 hours straight"

"Aaaah...Sorry sorry sorry sorry" I apologized, Aki is scary when he is angry. "I j-just...uhm...I'm sorry..."

He sighed. "It's okay, I'm just glad you are alright. Well then, see you tomorrow, take care."

"Bye Yuu-kun." Said Sora who was still taken back from Aki's angry-mode.

"B-Bye Sora and t-thanks for visiting, you can also call me Yuu. I-If you don't mind I mean."

He nodded with a smile.

Sora POV

We lived in the same direction so I walked with Aki for a while, I felt some sort of tension though.

"He got more confident thanks to you." I tried to break the ice. "I hope everything wi.."

"Sora." He suddenly stopped. "Are you gay?"

My heart skipped a beat. "Huh...? Where did that co..." I began to ask as I turned his way but his look pierced through me. I knew he could already tell I was lying..."Y-Yeah... but... how did you know?"

"Well" He started walking again. "I've never seen you hang out with Yuu but suddenly when he turns out to be gay you look for him and actually manage to calm him down. I already suspected something when you told me about yesterday but it became clear when Yuu was flustered enough to fall on his face after hearing your name."

I sighed. "You are sharper than I thought."

"Do you like him?"

I looked away. "Yeah..."

"I see. Don't worry, I have no problem with it."

"BUT" he continued with a fierce look. "I'll tell you the same, if you hurt him, I'll kick your ass."

"Got it" I responded with a nod.
