Cullen Skink recipe (Ma’s) - Use on Sun?

1 smoked haddock

pint milk

2 tbs butter

1 onion, leeks, diced

2 tatties, cubed

Season wi salt, pepper, parsley (Go tae town for fresh herbs. No much still wick here in Walter's garden, curse the lazy skiver)

Restock pantry, extra guest! (Northwind. Why here? Secretary?)  Eldest Rathod sister gae me telling off when not enough soup other nicht, but how possible if A dinnae ken? Naebodie bothered tell me anither guest tae join. Total now? 9? Nae, Laird Rathod gone (God rest him, couldnae say one good word 'bout ma food last week when struck ill.)

Supper tonight: Beetroot salad, butter rolls, roast carrot… - Cottage pie? Shepherd’s (no beef). Treacle pudding.
