I can't believe that all of this happened in one day!
At one moment, we were watching a cheesy movie and the other we started making out! That's something I never thought would happen, by the way. I even made the first move! I honestly wasn't planning on that. I guess I got caught up in the moment. Yoru looked so cute and defenseless and I don't think I was any better. I almost felt my brain melt when he kissed me back. After we stopped kissing though, I felt like Yoru came back to his senses and understood that it's better if we keep some distance. He wasn't even sure if he liked guys, let alone me. I still suggested that we should at least go at one date right before I left his house. I thought that it would be beneficial, since it would help us both. It would help him decide if he can actually be with me, and it would help me move on if he can't. Being rejected would be better than hopping about something that would never happen. Even if I got my hopes up because of the kiss, I started to think that a relationship between us might really be impossible for him, since he took way too long to answer my text message. After about half an hour of waiting for an answer to my already read text, I finally gave up and got ready for bed.
It seems though, that the universe likes to always keep me on the edge, because right when I was about to get over the idea of a date with Yoru, he replied to my text.
"Okay. One date " read the text message. I kept looking at it, thinking about how to reply. I might have blushed and squealed a little too, but we won't discuss that right now. After I calmed down from my nearly heart attack, I unlocked my phone again.
"I knew you couldn't resist me! I'm way too hot for that. " I said back with an emoji to fit my tone. I tried to tease him a little, but the truth is that I was super nervous. I didn't want to mess up. I might have looked experienced, but I've never liked someone so quickly before. I usually went on dates just because other people asked me out. In fact, this would be my third date with a guy!
"You're paying, or I take it back. " he replied, but I could tell he was just teasing me, too.
"Haha, funny. When should I pick you up?"
"Tomorrow night?"
"It's a date. So, dinner and movies?"
"Sure."
That might be the most cliché date ever, but I thought I'd be great for a first one. Nothing too fancy and nothing too plain.
"Okay. Goodnight, Yoru." I texted back, because I felt like the conversation would become a bit awkward if we kept talking. I still wanted to say "goodnight " to him though.
"Goodnight." he replied and there I was, smiling like an idiot, rolling around on my bed. I didn't expect a positive answer to my question about a date, let alone a goodnight text. As much as I wanted to keep talking, I decided to try and contain myself. It was already late and I could use some beauty-sleep. "I got a date for tomorrow after all", I thought, with a soft smile on my face.
It didn't take much longer for me to take a trip into dreamland and I'm guessing I had some pretty nice dreams, since I woke up more refreshed than ever.
