"For two weeks?" I say. David and Snow both nod their heads. "It really won't be that bad. Her daughter is so cute." Snow says. "I don't know what to say to this. I'm not good at babysitting, what if I do something wrong?" I say as my voice trails off. "You'll be fine. You took care of Henry all the way until he was a teenager so it shouldn't be that hard." says Snow, as she takes my hand in comfort. "Yes. Snow's right. You'll do great", David says. I sigh and give them a nervous smile to let them know that I'll survive through this. "When do I start?" " Tomorrow evening. Emma says that she'll talk to you about all of the details tomorrow." I nod, letting them now that they are dismissed. They both smile and walk away and I let out a sigh, as many thoughts swarm through my mind.
The next day was a normal day until the late afternoon when Emma came by with a very excited look on her face. She sees me and gives me a big hug like we hadn't seen each other in forever. " Hi Regina! It's so good to see you!" "It's nice to see you too." I say, giving her a smile. "So about the babysitting situation.." I say. " Oh yes! Well for one thing, I'm really sorry about the late notice. I meant to tell you earlier but I just didn't have the time too." says Emma. "But I needed a babysitter and I was going to ask Granny but she is going on her summer vacation with Ruby and you were immediately my second option. I know that you raised Henry when I couldn't, so I figured you would enjoy taking care of Emily when me and Hook go on our honeymoon." "I'm totally okay with it all. I just didn't know it would be so sudden." I say. "Oh don't worry. It's really not that hard. I'll explain it too you." says Emma, getting a piece of paper out of her purse while she starts to explain everything. A couple of minutes later she finishes explaining it to me and lets out a big sigh like she just ran a marathon. "Wow. That was a lot to process", I say, giving her an amazed look. "Yep, but it's all good. It's actually fun once you get used to it." I nod skeptically, like I understand it all. "I just want to say thank you so much for doing this. It really means the world to have a friend like you." she says, giving me one last hug before she scurries out of the room. I'm then left in the room alone, looking at the paper she gave me.
A couple of hours later, Hook comes by my room. I open the door and he's holding a small human that I instantly know is their daughter Emily. "Well well well, look who it is. The pirate." I say, laughing." "Haha. Very funny." he says. "I came by to drop off the baby and her things", he says, handing me the stuff as I put it on the ground. "Oh thank you" I say, having a nervous look on my face. "And here is the most important thing of all, Emily" He says, then handing me the girl. I take her into my arms, just as I did with Henry when he was a baby. Hook then thanks me and gives me a thumbs up as a sign that I'll do fine. He leaves and I'm left holding Emily as I look down the hall. Emily looks down the hall at Hook and then looks at me. "I know. I'm not mommy or daddy. I'm just your babysitter." I look deep into her eyes and can tell that it's going to be a long two weeks.
