Today was important, as it was Seth’s first date in years. He was a broken man when they meant online, they were light years away from one another. Both didn’t have the funds to make the full trip and so they decided on this location. The world of Asora, a place of pleasure like no other. This would be where they would go on their first date, Seth was ready for this. Dressed in the finest clothes he could afford.
His ship exited warp, entering the worlds space station. His small compacted ship landed in the hanger, It was an old ship. Past down from generation to generation, Seth came from a poor family that lived in the world of Balacore nine. He sighed while exiting the ship, hoping that the woman of his dreams wouldn’t be here as they were to meet within the planet’s greatest city. His ship was the smallest within the station but he didn’t care, not everyone need ships with quantum engines to across such a small galaxy. He was proud of the life he had lived, just need the woman of his dream. He walked toward the large gate, cowards of mixed races were pouring in and out. Security checked everyone with an orbital droid, This machine scanned whoever was in front of them.
Mapping out the all of the possible outcomes, this made crime almost impossible to commit. As they would know if you did it or not as they went through all of the possible timelines. Seth wasn’t worried when it scanned him, it’s orange light almost blinding him. Every timeline being unraveled and scanned within this small machine. Once it was finished, it tagged him with a tracker.
“Seth Mobia, member of house sedno. Welcome to the world of Asora Prime, home to the galaxy's second greatest king. King Abel Archer the third, may your stay here enlighten your soul.” The machine said.
Seth awkwardly smiled as he walked away. The gate being only moments away, he could feel his blood begin to get warm. His heart racing faster and faster. Sweat pouring down his soft skin, apart of him was scared. Afraid that this was all just a scam, some cruel joke that someone wanted to play on him. He almost turned around but he pressed on. Walking into a small vat, this would send him down to the world. Passing through space, from this view the world only looked more magical. It gave him a sense of hope, his dream was coming true.
The pod landed on a floating dice platform, melting away as if it were made from liquid. He smiled as he was able to see the massive city, oval-shaped buildings floating. This was the world of his dreams.
“Seth?” a soft feminine voice called out, her voice caught his attention. He couldn’t move as he was frozen by the very person called out his name. She was a young woman, her jet black hair was shoulder length. Her eyes slanted and skin a light yellow, the green eyes are what drew him in the most. They were perfect in every way possible, his heart started to race faster and faster. “Yome.” Seth finally said, almost dropping to the floor. She was more beautiful than he imaged, Yome hugged him lifting the young man. He smiled like he was just a child, This was what he wanted all along. The smile on his face was frozen in place until she let him down, quickly kissing him. Seth wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to him. “Yome, I can’t believe I am meeting you.” Seth cried out, tears flowing from his face. She continued to passionately kiss him, only letting go when she notices people photographing them. In an instant she became scared. She quickly moved away from Seth, her long dress flowing in the air. Tattoos on the arms and legs being revealed, he was shocked to see this.
“Why do you walk away from my love.” He concernedly asked.
“I wish for us to be in private so that our love is for us and us alone.” She replied walking toward a square shaped building. It was a pearl white with stripes of blue running down. They both entered to be introduced to a room of gold and silver, the floor was made from an icy blue marble. It glowed whenever someone stepped on it, recording everything that has ever happened. They both walked to a small round desk, a single machine was sitting there. Mediating as if it was trying Sex find some meaning in life, this was more than a machine. It was alive thanks to the crystal placed deep inside of it. Ecex is what they were called, a race older than existence itself watched over this hotel of dreams. A place where reality could be bent by the will of the user. An onto-Kinect realm for those too weak to understand magic.
“Can I get a room for two?” Some asked.
The Ecex waived its hands, summoning a door before them. It was colored in silver and gold, such a room would cost millions to even summon. Seth was shocked, he couldn't even afford this door if he saved for a hundred years. The door opened to a large bed clothed in the greatest of richest, engraved with golden wires. Seth turned to face her, in awe of what he was seeing.
“How could you afford this?” Seth asked.
“My Lord gifted me some money, he wanted me to see the one I love and experience our first time together in the most expensive room possible,” she replied, touching his face softly then walking into the door. The door rippled like a liquid being pushed against. Seth followed her, she never spoke of this lord in the time they had known one another.
The room was massive, they could fit seven versions of his house in it and still have room to spare. The floor was covered in a royal red, mixed with gold. The lights were all controlled by a single thought, everything in the room was.
Some had bought him a glass of the finest wine the galaxy had to offer. It's contains said to give a person an extended lifespan, Seth was only six hundred. This could triple his life to be even longer, a rare case in the society.
He took the wine, slowly drinking it.
“This is really....good,” he said falling towards the ground.
He wakes to see Yome talking to a hooded figure. Seth looked to the right and saw four other men hung up on the walls.
“what is the meaning of this?” he demanded.
“Oh Seth, you poor fool. This was a trap, one that you fell into,” she answered, taking out blade forged from bone. The handle made from a metal that tore apart spacetime. With a swift swing she had killed the others, their shattered bodied gave weight to the power of the blade. Blood flowing and surrounding Yome.
Her dress came undone, revealing her tattoos. Marked by a higher power, she began to chant in a language no mind could understand.
The blood stored itself into the blade, empowering it beyond what it was already.
“Why Yome?” Seth asked.
She smiled while getting closer to him, touching him with the knife.
“I honestly did like you, a shame I have to kill you" she answered.
Yome shoved the knife into Seth, his skin turning hot red. Eyes almost popping out of his head, every cell burned with an eternal flame. Seth let out a last scream before his body turned to ash.
The ashes were absorbed into the blade, she stabbed the wall. Creating a portal filled with rage, out stepped a fiend vile and cruel.
“I offer this world lord of pain,” she said.
It smiled, forming a sword from nothing. The blade a deep black, the handle made from a red ora.
“I shall feed on this world, This galaxy will burn before my might.”
