As I turned the corner and walked to my dormitory, I saw something that concerned me.
My box of belongings in the hallway.
Like all of the boarding population of the student body, I had shipped my most of my essentials to the dormitory beforehand. Usually, they are not put outside.
I also noticed that one instrument of mine was missing.
I heard it sound as I entered the room. My blue, s-type guitar being strummed by a blue-haired girl I have never seen before sitting on the bottom bunk. My immediate thought being, it looked better on her, then it probably did me.
"And then I went on a mission to a Felician colony to educate the catpeople savages about Mirai!"
My second thought being of how loud this girl was.
"Oh wow, sugoi! How did you go on a mission already? You are not an Idol..."
The green-haired girl sitting on another bed, not a bunk bed, however, I did recognize. Chinami Fumiki. She's one of the popular kids in school, I didn't really know her. But then again, I didn't really know anyone other than a special few.
"Not an Idol yet!" said the blue-haired girl sitting on the bottom bunk. "Well, oka-san let me follow her so I can see first hand what I will do when I do become an Idol!"
"Wow!" exclaimed Chinami her hands performed little claps. "You are so lucky!"
"I suuure am!" she said as she continued strumming my guitar.
I tried to get their attention as they continued their conversation. I opened my mouth and raised my hand, but no sound came out and the gesture was performed lamely.
So I decided to just to start moving my belongings inside let them have their fun.
I moved my box in, not too heavy really, just clothes and electronics. I passed between my chatting roommates to check the wardrobe space.
I had the dread before I opened it. The dread was warranted. The wardrobe was full. In fact, the whole of the room looked lived in already. Lived in for two.
I stood there thinking of the inevitable. I'm just going to have to live with my stuff on my bed for the second year in a row.
I guessed it was going to be fine, as long as I did not have a growth spurt there was going to be space for me and my stuff. Unfortunately, I'm writing this from the future. And I can report, my Tolk ancestry betrayed me.
Back to the present of this narration, I noticed that the blue-haired girl person was comfortable sitting in the bottom bunk. I entertained thoughts of just claiming the top bunk.
I mean it's not entirely out of the question that this blue-haired girl would like the bottom bunk instead. I haven't slept in a top bunk like ever. I'm due!
I looked at the blue-haired girl. I looked at the ladder. I looked at Chinami. I looked at the ladder. I stealthily put my box over. No reaction. I climbed the ladder...
"What do you think you're doing?!"
