In the halls of the mansion for The Nameless Shadows, the seven members laid around doing nothing or playing card games. They were given specific instructions by Zack not to do anything dangerous like killing the nearby monsters. One of the members, Leone, yawned. It was boring for her, Zack had said he was going to get them a few new members. She snickered, knowing Zack, he probably just decided everyone had no talent.

"Royal flush! I win. " Another member said to her.

"No fair Ditisio. You cheated. " Leone complained.

Ditisio shrugged and shuffled the cards. The other five were just lazing around and watching them. Some people would say that they were acting like trash, but they were in The Nameless Shadows, no one would really care.

Meanwhile, Zack was chatting with Alex. He explained, "I found him around in a shop I went to, he can really make weapons. Besides, The Nameless Shadows need a blacksmith anyways. "

Zack patted Joe on the shoulder. Alex's jaw dropped, Joe had made it to a royal knight group without even trying. Joe just stood there, confused. Zack had went to Joe's shop to check it out, coincidentally, Joe was making a sword. Zack had asked if he wanted to join The Nameless Shadows on the spot.

Zack looked between the two friends and did not even wait for an explanation before dragging them to the train. It was an old steam train, but it was the most effective way to travel in Emucus.

Back in the mansion, Leone and Ditisio were still playing their card game. The others had returned to their own room out of pure boredom. After many rounds of the game, Zack finally returned and kicked the door open.

"Where are the others? " He asked.

"They were just here a moment ago, pretty sure they are in their rooms. " Ditisio replied.

"Whatever, just introduce you two first. C'mon, introduce yourselves. " Zack insisted.

"Which two? " Leone asked.

"These two. " Zack pointed at Alex and Joe.

"Hello, my name is Alex. He is Joe. " Alex said.

"I am Leone and this is Ditisio. The other five of us are currently not here. I'm surprised Zack picked two. Let's see how long you two last. " Leone said in a deep tone.
