sometimes it builds up and i get overwhelmed by how much it feels like i don't have a place to be seen as myself.

I get that. My cousin says they don't care, but I make sure to use they/them pronouns as much as I can except for around people who don't know. Same with my genderfluid friend because their parents don't know their preferred name and they don't plan on telling their parents bc they're homophobic/transphobic
