Toronto is known throughout the world for being one of the cities with the largest magical population. This is thanks to fact that Agency, the group that unites the magical and mundane communities, is based there. When Faith, a member of Agency, visits the town of Bleakwood she discovers that one of the local seers has been marked by a mysterious, shadowy faction. Regulation demands that she take the seer, Abby, back to Agency headquarters but this is harder than it seems as the Lovecraftian deity that rules over Bleakwood doesn’t allow the seers to leave her town. Abby’s prophecy that she will marry Faith doesn’t help matters.
