I approached a table with two students that I have known all of my academic career up until that point. The light-brown haired and slender Aussie and the dark-haired and slightly round Ash. They were both non-Nijhonjins and I suppose they were the closest thing I had to friends.
"Dummy-sama, where's your lunch?" asked the lighter skinned Ash.
"Haha yeah, we just shouted to tell you where we are, not to like actually call you over!" said the tanner Aussie.
I wish they could be less insulting tho, I mean I am still an Idol Candidate despite myself.
I hastily went to the food line, saw what was on offer from my position in the queue. They had rice, a choice of proteins (beef, eggs or soy), and a mixed veggie thing. But I had my eye on the stack of sandwiches they had as an alternative.
"Can you take out the meat in the sandwich, please? And a glass of water...please" I asked my fellow student who was on breakfast serving duty.
"Are you alright?" asked the student.
I felt slightly irritated, but I shouldn't be. It comes with the territory, I suppose.
"I am all...right."
With my tray holding lettuce and cucumber sandwich and a glass of water to put on my tray and went back to the table Aussie and Ash was. Please don't comment, please don't comment, please don't comment.
"Whoa, are you dieting, Dummy-sama?" asked Ash.
"You don't seem fat." stated Aussie.
Well, to be honest, I did feel fat at that particular time, thank you very much.
"H-hey it's like our final year, I might not make Idol next-"
"You will make idol!" cut Ash.
"Okay, on the off chance I don't make-"
"No, like you will make idol!" cut Ash again.
"Ash, I think Dummy-sama wanted to say something?" said Aussie.
Yeah, can you nerds stop calling me that!
"N-Nah, nevermind" I squeaked out instead.
"I mean, as long as you don't go over...what the upper weight thing?" asked Ash.
"Forty-five kilos?" answered Aussie.
"Yeah forty-five, I think you're still good. Right?"
He's not wrong.
"Yeah, I'm still good."
Well, I can grow taller.
"Well, I can grow taller."
"Then, you'd have to be thinner," said Ash.
I'd like to see you get thinner, fat-ass.
"Right."
I hate my "friends".
"Hey is that the new girl?" said Aussie looking past my shoulder.
"Whoa she's cute!" said Ash.
I turned around to see Aimi being escorted by a senior Accompanist to the teacher's table.
"S-she's the principals' daughter," I said.
"High Idol's can have daughters?" wondered Ash.
"Well, it's rare," I said. "But not unheard of, and it's not like it's against the Canon or any Edicts I'm aware of or anything."
"Hey, I think she's in Miss Aoyama's class," said Aussie as we see Aimi being introduced to the middle-aged green-grey haired person. It was Miss Aoyama,
I checked my glassPhone to see who my homeroom teacher was.
Wakabayashi, Wendy; (F); Class 9-2; Homeroom Teacher: Nanami Aoyama
