The day of the big winter dance and Tarzan, Lumiere and I stood at the bottom of the staircase waiting for Belle and Jane. The girls had wanted to get ready together and told us to go before them. Lumiere wore a white suit with a gold tie and a red rose pinned to his lapel. Tarzan was dressed in a black tux with a red tie and held a necklace in his hands. I was dressed in black pants and a dark blue dinner jacket. I held a single rose in my hands, I was talking with Zan when Lumiere tapped us on the shoulders. We looked up the stairs only for our jaws to drop, Belle had half her hair pulled up so the rest of it curled around her. She was dressed in a gold gown that was strapless and corseted down into a princess skirt. A sheer golden fabric was draped over her shoulders. Jane was dressed in a pale yellow strapless dress, the fabric was almost like water flowing around her. She had her hair pulled up into a bun on top of her head, little wispy pieces fell around her face. They walked down the stairs together but as soon as they were at the last step Zan and I wrapped our arms around them. I handed Belle her rose and she smiled up at me. When we had first met she had told me that her favorite flower was a red rose because it meant forever love. I pulled her to me and kissed her slowly. Zan gave Jane the necklace he held, it was a gold chain with a diamond shaped star hanging from it. On their first date they had watched the meteor shower together and he told her that he would always see her as his personal star. We took the girls out to the dance floor and held them close. I looked down at Belle.
“You look beautiful.” She blushed
“Thank you, you look very handsome as well.” I smiled and brought my lips to hers. I spent the night with her in my arms and I couldn’t ask for anything better.
“I love you my beauty.”
“I love you too, my beast.”
