So this is something I learned a while back, and it helped me out a lot, I don’t know if it’ll help you at all or Just be a bother xD but here it is
So I used to map out all my drawings like you do, with percentages and ratios and notes and everything, but I never liked the way it looked so I started to draw using my own eye, without all those numbers and hard ratios. I think I’ve improved a lot from it, and I prefer my messy “make it up as I go” kind of style. I think it forced my eyes and gestures to be more accurate without all the tedious work that used to go into it
( o3o)/ try forcing yourself to just feel out the shapes and proportions rather than figuring out something silly like how many heads are supposed to go in a certain place
