The year at Elphon Academy begins September 7th 20XX, the first day of another term for some students of the Academy, but as for others it's their first day in this prestigious school well known for its amazing and old magic teachings but not limited to it.

   Elphon Academy was founded 55 years ago to the day by the esteemed Lorraine Elphonheim, which is why the school re-opens after summer on the 7th of September. It is a way to celebrate the founding and introduce new students to the school through the Re-opening festival where returning students help teachers to present their courses with an example of what they will learn, for instance if you go into the pyromancy course you'll see a display of controlled flames which are being manipulated by students and they'll even let new students attempt to manipulate the– "Elizabeth!!" Annabell's shout interrupted.

   "What Annie? Can't you see I'm reading the introduction booklet?"

   "You mean the brochure? Yea listen, sis, if you keep reading about the school you won't experience it. Now come on they have a display for aeromancy that we have to see!" Annie said dragging Elizabeth away to the display.

   As the two girls came up to the display they witnessed a man not too much older than them dressed in the schools uniform of a white button up shirt, a pair of grey slacks, and black leather shoes floating above the ground with air whisking the two apart. A girl standing next to the man began her lecture, "This is just an example of what aeromancy can do," She stated. "On a larger scale it can lift and propel a plane though not many companies use aeromancy fueled planes anymore as they are expensive so it is really only the nobility that fly that way anymore."

   "Guess nobility gets all the cool stuff." Annie pondered.

   "Yea well no point in thinking too hard about it," Elizabeth said with a slight smile. "You might turn into a pigeon again sis."

  Annie recoiled, "Oh that was one time and you know it!!"

   "Twice actually," Elizabeth said throwing an arm over Annie's shoulder. "Remember that time Uncle Leonard asked you to choose a song for your birthday party?"

  "Yea I think so."

  Elizabeth began to grow a wide smile, "You thought about it so hard you turned into a pigeon and Uncles dog chased you till he negated your magic," Elizabeth said bellowing out in laughter.

   Annie blushed and turned to avoid her sisters gaze, "Yea and the dog still bit me, the bloody bitch..... "

As the time passed the girls had been able to get acquainted with many of the courses available in the academy but not any of the students, many seemed to stick with people they knew, while others just didn't socialise nonetheless from all they've seen they were looking forward to school life here all that was left in the Re-opening festival was the welcoming ceremony.

    "So where's the welcoming ceremony held sis?" Asked Annie.

   "Its held in the central buildings P.E. hall, come on this way," Stated Elizabeth.

   As Annie followed her twin sister they exited the prestine white marble building they'd seen most of the courses in, on the outside of it, above the exit was the number '4' carved into the buildings material marking it as the 4th building out of many on the campus. Continuing on to the P.E. hall they crossed the court yard in-between the 4th building and the central building, barely missing getting soaked by the Rosewood Pixies that danced in water of what the bronze plate bolted to it called 'the spiral fountain' clearly named after the spiral, double helix shaped fixture that is situated in the center of the big round fountain.

"Ah bloody Pixies watch where you splash that stuff!!" screamed Elizabeth.

    The Pixies just giggled at the young girls rage.

   Annie, placing a hand on her sisters shoulder, "Calm down Liz its just water besides Rosewood Pixies, are known for being 'overly playful'."

   "Rosewood?" Elizabeth questioned.

   Pointing her index fingure, "See the pink tinge on their skin and clothes?" Asked Annie.

   Elizabeth nodded.

  "That indicates what kinda tree they lived in, given the pink tinge they seemed to have lived in a Rosewood tree which are known for having w-well pink looking bark and red leaves."

   Elizabeth looked at her sister with wondering eyes.

   Annie, embarrassed by her sister gaze turns into a pixie that they had just been observing.

   "You really put a new meaning to 'blushing red' sis," Elizabeth said with her wide smile returning.

   "Help turn me back OR I will bite you," Annie said in retort with her new squeaky pixie voice.

   As Annie asked for help with her accidental transformation a bell rang, emitting from the central building, indicating the welcoming ceremony was about to start.

   "SHIT!!" Elizabeth screamed as she grabbed her pixie sized sister, placed her in her button up t-shirts breast pocket and ran towards the central building at blazing speed passing all the other students who were heading towards the central building.
