Me and Alec Drummond, author of "Lebre e Coelho", "Larry e Coelho", and others, are gonna have a table on São Paulo's CCXP (Comic Con Experience), in the Artist's Alley!! We're VERY excited and making products and stuff to be sold there.
And do you know what it'll mean to this series? A PRINTED COMICBOOK!
YES! "Dog Days Are Over - Vol 1" is gonna be produced and debut at CCXP. It'll contain the first part of the story, plus extras: extra comics, art, etc. I'm still working out the schedule for my Masters AND this AND a few other things I gotta do this year but IT WILL HAPPEN.
It'll be completely produced by myself, no publishers, and no crowdfunding either. I've run two successful crowdfunding campaigns before and while they worked, they burned me out. I can't afford that in such a busy year, so I'd rather bite the bullet and fund it from my pocket.
I won’t be shy though to ask you if you’d be interested in helping with funding it. Not as a full crowdfunding, but as a tip jar (maybe using a service like Ko-Fi), with small prizes (wallpapers, some of the exclusive art that’ll be in the book, etc; nothing extravagant like a crowdfunding would probably have) as a thank you. The book WILL happen no matter what, the comic will STILL be updated regularly, there are no stakes here. This would just be set up if DDAO readers as a “community” are interested in taking part in helping me publish it on my own.
So thank you for your patience during the past few weeks, and onto more werewolves!!
Also, already anticipating questions: the book will be in Brazilian Portuguese (at least the first edition, as I’m Brazilian and live and work here) and if it’s not sold out at CCXP it’ll be available for purchasing and shipping afterwards - maybe even internationally! But that’s for later.
A cashier has discovered a millenial werewolf around her grocery store, in a city in the 2010-2020's. And there are more problems that just a bit of extra fur.
